Past President Lee presented Ray with his Life Member-ship Certificate and Bill and Helen Smith received their club T shirts.
The following meeting we were entertained by David and Daphne who expressed concerns that Council is “slow” in promoting the valuable heritage content of our city.
Rosemary and I presented a cheque for $300 to the
Headspace group and were pleasantly surprised with the
reception we received.
BBQ Trailer While Phil, Rob Small and I
were cleaning the BBQ trail-
er, Rhonda and Phil gave the
equipment trailer a good
dose of TLC. We won’t men-
tion that while attempting to
repair one burner control,
your president broke anoth-
er.
Soccer concluded on Sat 22nd and I would like to thank all
who contributed during the season. Special thanks to Lee
for ably leading the crew.
A group of members, partners and friends enjoyed a very
pleasant day at Tulip Top Gardens on Sunday Sept 23.
Good to spend some time with Alan and Margaret Milne.
