2008 PianoArts North American Competition winner ABOUT PIANOARTS
Established in 1999, the PianoArts North American Piano Competition for pianists, ages 16-20, is recognized internationally. The thirteenth international competition will be held June 2–8, 2016. In addition to prizes, awards, and competition performances with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, selected competition winners receive fellowships to return to Wisconsin to perform for diverse audiences and present music education programs.
In the opposite years, PianoArts presents the Wisconsin Youth Piano Competition in partnership with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. For ages 10-16, this competition will be held June 12–15, 2015. In addition to prizes, the winner will perform a piano concerto with the MSO for Youth Concerts during the 2015-16 season. SPECIAL THANKS TO:
