Reports: Display previous inspection batches and pass/fail details.

Data Sync: Synchronize inspection details, located inventory and equipment updates between the Handheld and the Server Databases.

Handheld Application:

Equipment: Select the equipment type to be inspected.

Inspection: Select the inspection or periodic maintenance to be performed.

Location: Select or scan the location ID where the equipment to be inspected is located.

Handheld Application:

Serial Number: Scan the serial number barcode and proceed based on inspection type.

•Detailed (D)- Read and respond to each of the inspection prompts. The pass/fail is determined by your responses.

•Pass/Fail (P) – Press either the pass or fail button. Then continue with the scan of the next equipment item.

•FastPass (F) - Scanned item is automatically passed.

•AutoPass (A) – This method will automatically pass all items in the selected location.

Press the <Next> button to continue with another location on upon completion.

Pass: A passed inspection can be specified by :

Detailed: Your responses to the individual inspection template details.

Pass/Fail: Pressing the pass button.

FastPass: Scanning the items barcode.

AutoPass: Scanning the location, all items in location are automatically passed.

specified by :

inspections template. AutoPass: Pressing the Fail button and responding to inspections template.

Note: The inspection template details are displayed when the Fail button is pressed. Once completed the application determines the pass/fail status, based on the inspection template details.

Select the item to print by either the equipment item, all items in that particular location or print the location label itself.

Ref #: This User controlled value was created to enable an additional printed text value. (sequential number or alpha value).

Serial Number: Scan a serial for maintenance or for mirroring data for adding new equipment items.

Maintenance/Inquiry: Allows for maintenance on all data fields for equipment items.

Add: Allows for rapid entry of equipment items.

Press the <Done> button to return to the previous display, which is unaffected by any of the performed tool functions.

Close Inspection: Once all inspections have been completed . Press the close button on the inspection selection screen to save the inspection batch and return to the Main Menu.

Synch: Press the Sync button to synchronize the your handheld database with your desktop database by hitting the synch button.

Cancel: If you do not wish to proceed with the synchronization, press the Cancel button to return to the main menu.
