LA PALINA EL DIARIO Kill Bill AESTHETICS CONSTRUCTION 90 Beautiful, oily brown wrapper with a smooth texture. No major veins visible. Rolled well, no soft spots. Draw was good, burn was fairly straight with gray-colored ash that held on. Cedar, spice followed by strong miner- al notes, cedar and some bitterness. Long finish of spice, mineral bitterness. Not a cigar for me. The flavor profile was off, balance was off, and the finish had a lingering mineral taste. Smaller smoke but a wonderful look to it. Dark, silky wrapper, just enough oil. Dark, flaky ash. Began with uneven burn, but evened out. Tight draw, went out easily if I set it down. Harsh, spicy smoke that bit the back of the throat. Not for everyone, but good if you prefer spice and pepper. Not a stick to be taken lightly. If you like a strong, spicy, bitter smoke, this is definitely a stick for you. Colorado/maduro small panatela. Smooth, no veins, hard and dry. A well-constructed cigar but rolled too tight. It burns evenly with a nice draw that produces a gray-black ash. A medium body cigar with a delicious tobacco flavor throughout the smoke and a nice aftertaste. An enjoyable cigar with good balance and complexity. I would smoke it again. Pairs well with cappuccino. 93 Excellent 90 Very Good PANELIST #1 PANELIST #2 PANELIST #3 FLAVOR AND STRENGTH GENERAL COMMENTS ORIGIN Honduras MAKER La Palina Cigar Company FILLER Nicaragua BINDER Honduras WRAPPER Honduras SIZE 4 1/4 x 40 PRICE $8.75 86 Very Good 56 SMOKE | 2012 NO. 2

Decent looking, dry, coarse wrapperwith moderate size veins. Dark brown.
Rolled OK, no soft spots. Triplecapped. Good draw, uneven burn. Ashwas flaky, black-and-white-colored.
Medium-full bodied. Earthy spice, thenflavors of spice, leather with citrus andcinnamon notes with long finish.
Excellent tasting cigar, great complexi-ty and balance. Recommended after asubstantial meal. I would buy this.
The cigar has a smooth and silkywrapper, with barely noticeable spots.
Solid, firm construction. Dark gray, crumbly ash, uneven burn. Had to trimand re-light the cigar frequently,
Cigar has a pleasant spice to it withflavors of cinnamon and nutmeg. Hasconsistent medium-strength flavor.
Good cigar to smoke in a park on awarm summer evening. Not overlycomplex, but it didn’t need to be.
Colorado/Maduro torpedo. Somenoticeable veins. Very good cap.
After the finger roll, the cigar has nosoft nor hard spots. Expertly rolledwith a quality cap.
