Processing collections, finding aids• McComb Collection: 230 35mm slides• Jane Simpson Series: GCA Collection

• Inventory-Created box lists to preserve original order of collection

• Created a finding aid for the McComb Collection• Opportunity to learn DACS• Culling

Archivists’ Toolkit• Open source database for managing archival collections• Two workshops with SI EAD Coordinator

-Archivists’ Toolkit Refresher-Using Steady with Archivists’ Toolkit

• Favretti Finding Aid & McComb Finding Aid-Enter collection and accession data

Public Tagging Initiative• Manage “Tag-It-Tuesday” activity on Facebook and Twitter• Users describe images exactly the way they would search for

them, which increases the discovery of collections
