Accommodations

• SDE will only upload into TIDE required demographic information, such as isIEP and/or is504. • SDE will not put into TIDE the specific accommodations and/or designated supports. • District and/or Schools will have the ability to do a bulk upload or adjust the student test
settings by student through the TIDE system. • This information can be found in the Smarter Balanced TIDE User’s Guide (attached). On pg.
29 of the documents begins the section regarding Student Test Settings. Pgs. 34/35 lists which fields they will be able to set.
• The two webinars (http://sbac.portal.airast.org/field-test/ ) specific to TIDE and Accessibility and Accommodations are:
– TIDE User Roles: Module will provide detailed information on how to upload student information and manage users, as well as other feature found on the Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE). TARGET AUDIENCE: District test coordinators and administrators
