Challenges in smart school

Page 15: smart school

1. Lack of manpower in handling the technical problem

• Some schools do not have enough technician

2. Training

• New teachers lack of intensive training

• Teacher as primary deliverer must have intensive training in

using ICT and also must have full readiness for the

implementation of Smart School

Page 16: smart school

3. Huge investment on facilities

• The costs and maintenance fees for the facilities are high• need many high-tech facilities

4. Smart School courseware was found to be under-utilised

• Teacher lack ICT knowledge and not comfortable with the use of hardware and courseware

• Prefer traditional way of teaching which is chalk and talk
