“LIMITLESS in His glory is He who transported His servant by

night from the Inviolable House of Worship [at Mecca] to the

Remote House of Worship [, at Jerusalem] - the environs of which

We had blessed -so that We might show him some of Our symbols:

for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-seeing.”

(Qur’an: Isra’: 17: 1)


“Nay seek (Allah's) help with patient perseverance (SwOBR’)

and prayer (SWOLAH): it is indeed hard, except to those who

are humble (KHAA-SHI-’EEN).”

(Qur’an: Baqarah: 2: 45)

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS IN

• It is clear that Muslims who do not uphold and

consistently perform their obligatory Swolah

inevitably fall prey into following Satan’s

footsteps, drawn into sins, due to the temptations

and the glitters of the love for the world.

• To help any Muslims in whatever problems they

face, reminding them to keep to fulfilling their

most important obligation – Swolah – is crucial.


““ Enjoin prayer (Enjoin prayer (SWSWOLAH) on thy people (family), OLAH) on thy people (family),

and be patient and constant thereinand be patient and constant therein. We ask thee . We ask thee

not to provide sustenance: We provide it for thee. not to provide sustenance: We provide it for thee.

But the (fruit of) the Hereafter is for But the (fruit of) the Hereafter is for

Such is the importance of Such is the importance of SwSwolaholah that we are that we are

to enjoin it upon our family too, no matter if it to enjoin it upon our family too, no matter if it

Most often “Most often “SWSWOLAH” is translated as “prayer” – but this is OLAH” is translated as “prayer” – but this is

not accurate, because in Islam there are two kinds of prayer:not accurate, because in Islam there are two kinds of prayer:

“Swolah” is such a special act of devotion, because:

[a] Its commandment bestowed through a special miracle –

Isra’ wal- Mi’raj.

especially by the angels.

to have audience with the Compassionate and Merciful,

Lord of all creation – directly, without any intermediary.

thing) except to those guided by Allah. And never would

Allah make your faith of no effect.

For Allah is to all people most surely full of kindness, Most
