12. Prepare your ingredients, such as potato or carrot, by peeling if needed, and cutting into a suitable size to fit in the Feed Tube.

13. Choose the blade type according to your need (refer to table on page 5), assemble the blade as per instruction 1 – 11. Please ensure you assemble one pair of blades with the same colour.

14. Plug in the appliance to the power source, then press the switch to “ON” position. Once the motor is running, place your ingredients piece by piece, into Feed Tube, then press the food pusher to the lowest position.

Note: Do not operate the unit for more than 1 minute continuously or the food weight no more than 0.5kg for each use.

16. Place a clean bowl under Feed Tube to collect your sliced or shredded ingredients.

17. Once all ingredients have been sliced or shredded, press the switch to “OFF” position, unplug the power source.

Note: If the feed tube becomes blocked at the entry or exit, turn the unit off. Do not force further food down the feed tube in the aim to unclog food. Forcing extra food down the tube puts extra force on the blade cone and blades and can cause damage.

Once unit has been switched off, remove foods that are blocking the feed tube. Turn appliance back on and continue.

Note: Do not use the frozen dessert maker pusher in the slicing feed tube as this will damage the blades, blades cone, pusher and motor unit.

Note: Do not remove the blade cover whilst in operation.

When making the desserts with coconut cream we recommend pouring the liquid mixture into ice trays. This makes it easy to pop the frozen liquid out and place down the chute. If you don’t have an ice tray, freeze in a shallow dish. This way it can easily be broken up before processing. The Test Kitchen also recommends alternating the ingredients when placing down the Feed Tube, for a more mixed result.
