Skin deep: Dermatology RACGP WA Dermatological conditions are a common presentation in general practice, with GPs treating over half of all skin cancers. Numerous challenges confront GPs in regard to skin conditions, thus, the ability to correctly diagnose and treat skin complaints is essential. This full day Active Learning Module (ALM) aims to expand GPs skills and confidence in the diagnosis and management of a range of dermatological presentations. With a mix of theoretical and a surgical practical session, presenters will discuss benign conditions and malignant lesions, dermoscopy, Medicare billing and skin pathology. The program also includes a hands on biopsy and suturing session. RACGP dermatology workshops are highly popular and places fill quickly, so register early to avoid disappointment.
