Siesta Key Club While the first Kiwanis Club was founded in 1915 in Detroit, our club was established in 2001 by a small group of Siesta Key residents to serve the needs of children in the Sarasota metropolitan area. Since our founding, we have moved our Club off the Key to make us more accessible to all residents of the Sarasota area.

Name: The “Mighty” Siesta Key Kiwanis Club (We may be small but we are mighty!)

Members: Men and Women of diverse back-grounds and ages interested in improving the lives and success of children.
