Horman and the US Gov’t There has been a call for increased
educational requirements of police officers since 1967.
This called for bachelor degrees and an application of state of the art training environments for all officers.
Current Uses Simulations and
games are currently used to control dangerous situations while in the training environment.
Hostage Negotiations One of the articles researched
discussed the use of role playing in hostage negotiations training.
Crisis Intervention Team The last article researched involved
Crisis Intervention training, which again was role playing reliant.
