Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was an Austrian musician and composer. He lived from 1756 to 1791. He started composing at the age of five and wrote more than 600 pieces of music. He was only 35 years old when he died.

Lived/started/wrote/was/died are all past simple

What is SIMPLE PAST?

•The simple past indicates that an activity or situation began and ended at a particular time in the past.

• The simple past is a verb that is used to express repeated, habitual actions in the past.

• Time markers : yesterday, last ; last week, last year etc, ago; two weeks ago, two days ago, etcin; in 1999, in 1885 etc
