ii. Meeting (15 January 2012) with stakeholders to identify partners that have common ground with Tanzania SIMLESA technologies
iii. Use farmer cooperatives (TFA) to distribute and sell seed of identified varieties
iv. Train communities to produce their own pigeon pea seed (QDS)

v. Engage government leaders (District Commissioners) in fast tracking the process of transfer of Tanzania SIMLESA technologies

vii. Use media to reach more farmers

i. Local radios operated by some District Councils such as Boma FM
ii. Farmers Swahili Ukulima wa Kisasa magazine edited in Dar and distributed in the intended areas

Possible Constraints
• Limited funds for stakeholders willing to participate (25 %)
• Infrastructure is limiting technologies to reach farmers in remote villages
• Some policy issues limiting the transfer of technology (licensing the public maize hybrids to Private seed companies)
