Greetings from Khao Lak Explorer! We are a family owned dive center and tour operator based in the heart of beautiful Khao Lak, the

main departure for the Similan Islands, just 1.5 hour north of Phuket. We offer many different

activities from snorkeling, diving day-trips, liveaboard, PADI dive courses, to land tours in the

local areas.

All courses and fun dives are done in small groups and available in a number of languages to

ensure that you get as much as they can out of your diving experience. We can ensure that you

will be provided with the most professional and comfortable diving experience. Our dive shop

also offers a variety of diving and snorkeling gear in affordable prices to help you get the most

out of your underwater adventures.

Similan Diving Daytrip The Similans were designated as the 43rd National Park of Thailand in 1982, covering an area of 128 sq.km, including Koh Bon. The nine islands offer a myriad of experiences, activities and breathtaking views to all visitors whether their striking white beaches or scattered magnificent boulders. However, the most outstanding scenes are found under the waves including spectacular coral growth and diverse marine life, making the islands the ideal playground for all divers.

09:40 Arrive the Similans, you will have time to relax and have a cup of coffee.

Koh Bon Diving Daytrip Koh Bon is a small island isolated to the northwest of the Similan islands. It is still considered to be part of the Similan National Park.

Koh Bon is famous for its cleaning station that attracts Manta rays that need a little back scrub. We can see Mantas from November to May. However, they are more likely to be seen between January to April.

With our Manta Expedition, you will encounter these gracious 5 m. wide animals and be totally amazed.

Richelieu Rock Diving Daytrip One of the most famous dive sites of Thailand, Richelieu Rock is an isolated pinnacle to the east of Surin Islands. Forming a horseshoe figure, the pinnacle falls steeply to the surrounding sand bottom at a max. depth of 35 meters.

The majority of corals are colorful soft corals jostling against the wall, accompanied by huge sea fans, hard corals and anemones. Covered with colorful soft corals and sea fans, the groups of rocks to the northwest host some spectacular species, such as ghost pipe fish, frogfish, harlequin shrimp, seahorses, tomato clown fish, big school of barracuda, snapper and many more!

09:00 Depart to Richelieu Rock by speedboat.

10:15 First dive.

12:00 Lunch & Surface Time.
