With at least five years worth of experience, judges are responsible for overseeing the participant in action and choosing the winner based on criteria produced by Springboard and the Craft Guild of Chefs. Judges provide competitors with constructive feedback to help continue their development. Mentor chefs work with local schools and build a strong rapport with young, enthusiastic chefs through development sessions. Sessions include Look & Learn demonstrations, student challenges and mentoring to support skill development and competition preparation. Help us inspire the next generation of chefs. Work with us to offer taster sessions to take students on trips to your business, suppliers and local food markets. Offer invaluable work experience opportunities to enable young people to make an informed career choice, whilst talent spotting for your business.
