The scenario is you have older 2G or/and 3G, or/and 4G or/and
readers in Secure Admin

• Access Path>Click on the Lock
• Default password 12345

• Access Path> First Boot Assistant > Protocol Configuration
• Once you make the change click on the check Mark
• Once the protocol selected is saved. The terminal will be required to reboot to make the change in legacy modes. When one protocol is switched to another, MorphoAccess® SIGMA Series terminal will erase entire configuration and user database; except communication links and language settings.

• USB to Micro-USB Cable straight through
• Flash drive from 4 GB to 16 GB on USB 2.0
• SIGMA Lite will only read/write to USB drives formatted in FAT or FAT32
• POE Power or separate power
• *POE=Power over Ethernet

Questions and Answers• Can I use a Sigma series reader for enrollment like a 4G reader?• Unfortunately that is not possible
• Can I transfer a TMS , MTM templates to a Sigma ?• No only TEM, BUR, VUR can be transferred to the Sigma series
• The template type says N/A General tab of Secure Admin why?• The Sigma series only use a PK-Lite templates which is not listed under this tab
• If the reader uses Pk-Lite templates why can I transfer TEM, BUR, VUR ?• The software basically makes a copy of those template and converts them to a PK-
Lite template.
• Why do I need to use Secure Admin 4.1.20?• This version of software is built to see the Sigma series product line
• Can I communicate to the Sigma series reader using a USB cable?• The Sigma Series reader can communicate via IP or 485 in Secure Admin
• I get a missing License error when I try to enroll with a MSO in Secure Admin• The MSO requires a Verif license to work with Secure Admin, this license needs to
be purchased and added to the MSO
