Sight Word Guess Who?This game is played like Guess Who?, except with sight words.
For two players.
To Prepare:*Select the level game board needed (Pre-Primer through 3rd grade). Print off two identical game boards, one for each player.*Each player places her game board into a file folder so that the other player cannot see it. To play over and over, you can also slide each game board into a plastic sleeve protector and place in 3-ring binders.*Print off the game cards for that same level (color coded). Cut them out and place in a pile face down.
How to Play:*After game boards are ready, each player selects one sight word card from the pile and DOES NOT show it to the other player.*The goal of the game is to be the first player who can figure out the other player’s secret sight word.*To do this, players take turns asking yes or no questions (questions that can be answered only with a yes or no answer) about the other player’s sight word. For example, “Does your word have three letters?” or “Does your word have the long o sound in it?”*As each player narrows down the other player’s sight word, he crosses off words on his own game board based on the answer.
