With a complete and precise characterization of light source data, the SIG- 300 enables better design evaluations in a time efficient manner, more accurate optical designs for luminaries, smaller ray sets and the creation of more useful light sources. Add ProSource ® Software and the data can be imported into any major optical design package to allow accurate design of lighting systems. Excellent data quality is a product of an excellent design system. The SIG- 300 has been designed out of steel construction for minimized wobble, optical calibration, software tracking, and includes a Radiant Source Model (RSM) data set for all images. Light sources ranging in size from LED to medium can achieve precise levels of measurement, (as well as luminance and chromaticity as a function of angle). The SIG-300 produces optical designs that agree with real world measurements and allow for viewing of any source data from all view points to observe performance. Fewer ray sets are needed to achieve the same accuracy of optical design, translating into a major timesaver. Additionally, with the control and analysis software, test set-up and iteration of data is made easy. The construction of the Radiant Zemax SIG-300 , and it’s relatives the SIG-310 and SIG-400 , are stronger and more stable, making them the industry standard. The industry standard for near-field modeling of most light sources

Source Imaging Goniometer®

SIG-300™

• Measurement of near-field luminous intensity distributions and chromaticity for arbitrary light sources

• Creation of accurate rays sets for use in major optical design software packages

• Generates near-field models for customer optical designs and prototype testing

Applications

Benefits

• Collects both image and ray set data

• Generates industry standard Radiant Source Models™

• Exports ray sets to all major optical design programs using ProSource®

• Measures sources in vertical and horizontal orientation

The Radiant Zemax SIG-300™ (Source Imaging Goniometer, Gen.3) is a fully automated, computer-controlled goniometric system that uses the PM-1600F™ Series Imaging Colorimeter to capture a precise model of light source’s near-field output. With a complete and precise characterization of light source data, the SIG-300™ enables better design evaluations in a time efficient manner, more accurate optical designs for luminaries, smaller ray sets and the creation of more useful light sources. Add ProSource® Software and the data can be imported into any major optical design package to allow accurate design of lighting systems.

Excellent data quality is a product of an excellent design system. The SIG-300™ has been designed out of steel construction for minimized wobble, optical calibration, software tracking, and includes a Radiant Source Model™ (RSM) data set for all images. Light sources ranging in size from LED to medium can achieve precise levels of measurement, (as well as luminance and chromaticity as a function of angle).

The SIG-300™ produces optical designs that agree with real world measurements and allow for viewing of any source data from all view points to observe performance. Fewer ray sets are needed to achieve the same accuracy of optical design, translating into a major timesaver. Additionally, with the control and analysis software, test set-up and iteration of data is made easy.

The construction of the Radiant Zemax SIG-300™, and it’s relatives the SIG-310™ and SIG-400™, are stronger and more stable, making them the industry standard.
