Rotary Club Makati Greenbelt meets every Wednesday
Our Creator and Sustainer, so often You are hidden from us, not because You have removed Yourself, but because our spiritual eyes are closed. Grant us, we pray, the capacity to look within ourselves to find your presence. At this moment throughout the world, there are millions who do not recognize Your presence. May Your spirit resonate within their beings and cause them to come to a recognition of Your love and Your desire for all humanity to be united in the bond of Your spirit. Amen.
Getting to know you…
PP Ma. Cecilia “Maricel” Royo was our Club President in 2007-08. She implemented various projects and has always been very supportive of our Club activities after her term. She is into Advertising and Public Relations and currently the Vice President of Unitel Productions Inc.

I comeonce-a-more. Two asses, they come together again. I come again and peetwice. Then I come one lasta time."
"You foul-mouthed sex obsessed swine," retorted the lady indignantly."In this country . . . we don't speak aloud in public places about our sex lives. . . "

HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE
I know your eyes in the morning sun
I feel you touch me in the pouring rain
And the moment that you wander far from me
I wanna feel you in my arms againAnd you came to me on a summer
breezeKeep me warn in your love
then you softly leave
And it’s me you need to showHow deep is your loveHow deep is your loveI really mean to learn
Cause we’re living in a world of fools
Breaking us downWhen they all should let us be
We belong to you and me
How deep I believe in you You know the door to my very soulYou’re the light in my darkest hour
You’re my saviour when I fallAnd you may not think I care for
youWhen you know down inside that I
really do
How deep is your loveI really mean to learn
Cause we’re living in a world of fools
Breaking us downWhen they all should let us be
We belong to you and me
President’s Message By SVP Susan Ringol
It was a really devastating week after the two killer typhoons Ondoy & Pepeng.
Having done with our relief operations at the Taguig area last week, we visited our Club members PP Sessie & Rtns Ana & Au last Saturday. PP Sioni and my husband joined me in this activity as the other members already had commitments for the day.
Both their places were a mess and it would take time and a lot of money to put everything back the way it was. It was even more depressing to hear their stories about their experiences. We have yet to visit Rtn Rose’s place to see and hear hers. Let’s pray for them that they may move on smoothly and get over this mess soon enough.
On a lighter note, our co-hosting of the 3rd Leg of the Governor’s Cup at South Forbes was quite successful. We had 70 players and many supportive SVPs and District officers joined us. Even Gov Sid played after his ceremonial tee off but there was a downpour and some players did not finish their game. We had a fun time just the same with the sing-along, raffle and some games before the awarding of trophies for the winners.
The coming weeks will be busy ones for us as we have lined up many activities to catch up with the lost time due to the calamities that passed. Let us go on and continue our service projects for the Future of Rotary is in your Hands!
