SHRM is the global HR professional organization that exists to:

SHRM’s Academic Initiative is setting theagenda for educational requirements and underscoring the point that HR is a professionwith specific educational requirements.

• Business schools are following SHRM’s recommended curriculum and approach toward educating HR business students.

• Developing highly-qualified, competent new-entries to the workforce.

• Over 257 undergraduate and graduate HR programs at 205 different universities have adopted the SHRM curriculum, including in Mexico and Dominican Republic
