This range brings together British design, British engineering and British manufacturing to aproduct that is designed to meet the specifications of the UK and Irish markets. We currentlyhave three patents pending to protect the innovations that we have incorporated into this range.

Kanth designs and engineering have been rigorously tested to exacting standards. Ourproducts are machined from solid brass and are designed to last. The shower heads areeasyclean to prevent the build up of lime scale.

Our unique range of rails has been designed specifically for our detachable and hand heldshowers.

Kanth Shower Systems can be connected to Gravity, Unvented, Pumped or Combi systems.They have been tested and work at 0.1 bar pressure. The thermostat will also workwithout adjustment at high pressures up to 5 bar.

The K100 range is flexible allowing individual systems to be tailored to meet your needs.With numerous potential combinations of valves, hand sets, detachable showers, bodyjets, and overhead showers to choose from, we are confident that you will find acombination of products that will suit your needs.

Kanth is setting new standards in design and engineering that other manufacturers will try to match.

In designing our shower valves we gave careful consideration to two factors:

high performance product longevity

The body of the valve, what we like to call the ‘engine’, is made entirely fromhigh purity solid brass, to improve the product’s longevity.

We then decided to enhance our engineering process by machining the bodyfrom an ingot of this high purity solid brass.

What this effectively means is that instead of casting from molten brass weuse a precise machining technique which dispenses with the tiny pits andcrevices inherent within the body when one uses the casting process.

By using our enhanced machining process we smoothly mill through the brassto create near perfect waterways. This ensures that we reduce friction lossfrom the pits and crevices mentioned above, thereby enhancing theperformance of the valve and delivering substantially improved highperformance flow rates.

The other added benefit of this strict adherence to manufacturing qualitymeans we greatly reduce the build up of limescale, which is the single biggestcause of shower valve failure.

Just to make sure we are 'best in class', we have also designed the valve insuch a way to allow easy access to the body itself in the unlikely event thatservicing is required.

The KV2 (square) and KV2R (round) again use the same engine as the KV1 and KV1R but are designed for twooutlets. In other words, this particular valve allows you to have an overhead shower combined with a handset,hose and slide bar, individually controlled but most importantly with no loss of performance through the outlets.

Our challenge with the KV3 and KV3R was to ensure we delivered the performance we would expect. We wanted the bestpossible result if you were to use a handset, two body jets and an overhead shower, or indeed any number of configurationsrunning through one valve. To achieve this we used the same manufacturing process in this engine as we have used in all theother engines. What makes us different is that we do not use any diverters in the main body of the valve. A diverter basicallytakes the volume of water coming through a valve and splits it in two, meaning in effect half the volume of water out of twodifferent outlets as opposed to pushing it through one outlet. We use simple on/off controls and providing you bring enoughwater to the engine then we are confident of delivering the right amount of water to each outlet. All we ask is that you makesure that your water run off is adequate to cope with the volumes we will deliver.

These shower handsets are part of our range of easily cleaned heads designedwith purity in mind.

Whether you use a fixed head or an overhead shower system, a 50mmhandset or a 200mm overhead shower, rest assured we have painstakinglyresearched the number of holes required to give you the optimum sprayperformance.

Not only have we spent years researching the right material to use whenmanufacturing the spray nozzles, we have also used a belt and bracesapproach to our findings by installing a retaining plate behind the flexiblenozzle gasket within the shower head.

This not only gives you a perfect flow of water through each nozzle but alsomakes it easy to clean them and creates a perfect seal.

Do not take our word for it, test it out for yourself and prepare to be amazed.

PLEASE NOTEEach shower handset has been designed to work with a specific mounting,whether it is for use on a rail, on a wall mounting or to be used on our uniqueretractable unit (See chart on page 44).

This handset is designed only for use with the Kanth retractable unit with round backplate (KRUR) as shown on Page 26.

For the first time, you can now have an overhead shower which will double up as a hand held shower. Because of our best in classprinciples where we calculate the correct number of holes in the round face plate, backed by a rigid retaining plate behind the easilycleaned nozzles, we have not sacrificed performance. A quick look at the table below will show you how impressive the handset is by theamount of water it delivers at the various bar pressures.

Kanth guarantees all its products against any defect in workmanship or materials from the date ofpurchase. As Kanth products are designed to last longer than you may be staying in your house, we willallow all customers who register their products with us to transfer the guarantee to the new owners oftheir property.

All products are guaranteed for a period of 10 years.

Within the guarantee period Kanth will resolve defects by repairing or replacing defective componentsfree of charge. Replacement parts are guaranteed until the expiry of the original guarantee.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

This guarantee does not cover damage or defects arising as a result of:

Non-domestic usage Willful damageMisuse AccidentCareless handling ModificationsIncorrect installation Use of abrasive or chemical cleanersLimescale*

*PLEASE NOTE: Kanth recommends that adequate protection be taken in hard water areas to extend the life of itsproducts in hard water areas. If problems result from limescale Kanth will be happy to replace productsreturned to them; a fee will be charged for this service.

This guarantee is only valid for items purchased and installed within the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

To make a claim you must either have:

Registered the product with us and be at the address registered on our records; or

Have dated proof of purchase of the product from one of our registered suppliers, contractors’acknowledgment of the date of installation and be the original purchaser.
