+What is Show Choir?

A musical group that combines singing contemporary music and dancing into performances

Originally referred to as “swing” choir

One of the most common dance moves is “jazz” hands

+• Average size of show choir is 30-50

people• Show Choir is most common in high

school• Average size is anywhere from 10-50

people

Costumes

•Matching uniforms are a MUST!

•No set dress code

•Any shoes can be worn but character shoes are best for dancing

Must be able to sing all types of music such as: Jazz Pop Musical Theatre etc.
