My Neighbour

My next door neighbour is an Indian family. They are Mr and Mrs Mohandas. They have two children, Neena and Harish.

Harish and I study in the same school. We go to school together. Often,we go fishing and see movies during the weekends.

During the Deepavali celebration, I help Harish to put up oil lamps around his house. When my family and I visit Harish’s house during Deepavali, I get to eat delicious curries with buttered rice. There is a wide spread of sweets like

halwa, burfi and murukku. I am lucky to have such good neighbour.
