motors or inside cover of motor connection box. Main motor and fan motor need to be rewired.
• Reconnect transformer for proper incoming voltage.
• To complete the 460 Volt conversion the distributor must change the wiring configuration in the fan & main motor Junction box.
• Due to the placement of the junction box for fan it is difficult to access the wires properly.
• The following 4 steps are suggested to make this a quick retrofit in the field.
Step 1 – Lock out power to the compressor, close the discharge valve and relieve any pressure to the
compressor. Remove the top panels and disconnect the air intake line to the aftercooler.
Step 2 – lift cooler and place a holder to prop the cooler into position
Step 3 – Remove center bolt on the fan. This is a left handed thread so rotate the bolt
clockwise and remove the fan blade.
Step 4 – Remove the 4 bolts holding the fan motor to the fan guard and rotate the motor 90 degrees so the junction box is facing the center of
the compressor package. Change the wiring based upon the instructions inside the cover of the junction box.

electrical enclosure fits and is not stretched or kinked.
