STEP1Buildthefrontframebyjoiningthe2x4piecesasshown.ScrewinTP15tieplatestotheinteriorsideoftheframesatthejointsandpoundinMP24mendingplatestotheexteriorsideoftheframesasshown.

STEP2Buildthebackframeinthesameway:withTP15tieplatesontheinteriorsideoftheframeandMP24mendingplatesontheexteriorsideoftheframe.

STEP3Buildtwosideframes.Keepinmindthesesideswillmirroreachother.JointhewoodwithTP15tieplatesontheinteriorsideandMP24mendingplatesontheexteriorside.Noticethatthetopendsofthesidestilesandbothendsofthetoprailarecutata5ºangleoffsquare.

STEP4PlacethefoursidestogetherasshownandconstructthecarcassbyattachingwiththreeA21Zanglesateachcorner.NoticehowtheMP24mendingplatesareontheexteriorsidesoftheframeandTP15tieplatesareontheinteriorsidesoftheframe.

STEP5Attachthetongueandgrooveboardstotherightsideframewith1¼”bradnails.Beginwiththebottomboardwiththetonguefacingupandgentlytapthenextboardintoplaceandworkyourwayup.Youmaywanttouseasacrificialscrapblocksoyoudon’tdamagethetongue.Also,noticethatthetopboardwillhavetobecutatanangle.Irecommendholdingthetopboardinplaceandmarkingthelinewithapencil,thenusingacircularsaworjigsawtocutofftheexcess.

STEP6Cuttheplywoodpanel–noticethatitisslightlylargerthanthewindowopening.Draw3circlesontotheplywoodandcutoutwithajigsaw.Largecircle:12”diameter,mediumcircle:10”diameter,andsmallcircle:8”diameter.Beginattachingthetongue-and-grooveboardswith1¼”bradnails.Startatthebottomwiththetonguefacingupandworkyourwayup.Onceagain,thetopboardwillbecutatanangle.Holdtheboardinplace,marktheline,andcutexcesswithacircularsaworjigsaw.Attachtheplywoodtothetongue-and-grooveboardswith1¼”bradnailsandwoodglue.

STEP7Attachwindowtrimwith1¼”bradnailsandwoodglue.

STEP8Attachtongueandgrooveboardstothebackframe,startingwiththebottomboardwiththetonguefacingupward.Attachwith1¼”bradnails.

STEP9Attachwindowtrimwith1¼”bradnailsandwoodglue.Addthewindowledgelast.Usewoodglueand1¼”bradnails.

STEP10Attachwindowtrimtotheinteriorsideofthebackpanelwith1¼”bradnailsandwoodglue.

STEP11Attachthetongue-and-grooveboardstothefrontframewith1¼”bradnails.Startwiththebottomboards,tonguefacingupward,andworkyourwayup.

STEP12Attachtransomwindowtrimfirst.Use1¼”bradnailsandwoodglue.Next,attachthedoorandwindowtrimwith1¼”bradnailsandwoodglue.

STEP13Attachroofpanelstothe2x4framewith1¼”countersunkwoodscrews.Youmayneedtoattachamiddle2x4supportforaddedstrength.
