Shoe Box ProjectionRepurposing Process

Step 1: To start out you take your shoebox and cover all holes and cracks to make sure there is no way for light to get in your box.

Step 2: Once you are sure there is no room for light, go to the front of your box (shorter side) and hold your magnifying glass against the box and draw around your glass to know exactly where to cut.

Step 3: After you have drawn your circle take your box cutter and begin cutting your circle out.

Step 4: Now that you have it cut out take your magnifying glass and push the lens through into the circle previously cut out. Tape the handle to the inside of the box.

Step 5: Next, line up your phone with the glass, take your ruler and draw a mini runway so you know where to place your phone each time you use this tool.

Step 6: Place your phone stand on the spot you marked and glue it down.

Step 7: Your projector is almost ready to go place your phone on the phone stand and turn your brightness all the way up.
