United States Navy
Toll Remote Logistics has been supporting United States Navy (USN) vessels in the South Pacific since 1996. In 2013, the USN selected Toll to continue supporting their needs due to our corporate governance, transparency and our adherence to the UK Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy - the toughest Anti-Corruption Legislation in the world.
With full transparency and flexibility to meet the needs of USN vessels with up to 5,000 crew calling into foreign ports each with their own specific set of challenges and obstacles.
Most recently, Toll has provided port services in Sydney, Honiara and Townsville.
Toll Remote Logistics sends dedicated port coordinators to each port visit to coordinate planning and preparations, liaise with port authorities, procure supplies and being on hand throughout the entire visit to ensure the vessel’s needs are met.
Royal Australian Navy
Toll Remote Logistics entered into the Standing Offer for Navy Port and Agency Services (SONPAS) agreement to provide port agency services for the Royal Australian Navy in unsupported ports in Australia and Asia-Pacific.
A port coordinator travels to the location prior to arrival to carry out detailed planning and preparation. The Toll Port Coordinator ensures that all supplies and sub-contractors are ready and liaises with local port authorities in order to ensure the visit runs smoothly. Throughout the visit, port coordinators are on-hand to meet changing needs with a combination of flexibility to respond quickly and experience to pro-actively manage potential situations before they arise.
Since entering into the SONPAS agreement in January 2000, Toll Remote Logistics has provided port logistics services for port visits everywhere from Vizag to Vancouver and from Vava’u to Vladivostok. The services provided cover the full scope of requirements from the provision of pilots, tugs and berths for vessels to providing provisions, location briefing and tourism activities for the crew.
