Our compliance department follows many international AML laws & regulations As such, SHIFT screens all transfers against a number of international lists, including the US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), HM Treasury List, and others if a potential match is made, SHIFT then proceeds to perform a secondary check to identify whether the name matched is the same person on the sanctioned list, This screening process takes place during all transactions, including any transactions that take place outside the US.
