7. Right of Access:

The Cooperative's ident ifiE:d employees sha l have access t o members premises at all reasonable times for thE: purpose of re ading met ers, testing, repalrlngi, removing or exchanging any or al~ equipment be:onging to the Cooperative . ·

8. Consumer 's responsibility :

The appl icant will comply with and be bound by the pr ovlslon s of the charte r and by- l aws of the CooperativE:, of which he will be a member, and such ru~es and regulations as may, fro m t i me t o time, be adopted by the Cooper ative . All meters, servi ce connections and other equi pment furnished by the Cooperative shall be, and remain, t he property of the Cooperative . The member shall exercise proper care to prot ect the property of the Cooperative on its' premises and i~ the event of loss or damage to Cooper ative's pr operty aris ing from neglect of member t o care for same , the cost of the neces s ary repairs or replacements shal l be paid by the member •

9. Billing:

Bill s will be rendered and mailed mont hly . All bills shall be paid each month on or before the payment date shown on the bill at the offi ce of the Cooperative or i ts reguiar authorized collection agencies. Failure to r eceive the bill will not re:ease the member fro~ payment obligation. Should bi lls not be paid as above stated , the Cooperativ e may , at a~y time, thereafter , on ten (10 ) days notice to the member, dis cont i nue service . Bi lls paid on or before t he payment shal l be payable at the net rates but if paid after the payment date , a penalty 10% will be added to the bill. Should th<; payment date fall on Sunday or a holiday , the next business day follo wing will be the final day 1'or the next bi.l . All remittances received by the Cooperative after the payment date wi_ l be accept ed in net amounts if the incoming enve::.ope bears United States Post-Office date stamp of the payment date or a date prior ther eto .

RECONNECTION CHARGE

The Cooperative will make no charge for connecting service to the member's premises for the initial connection of service. When service has been terminated and the Co­operative is requested to reconnect service to the same member at the same location a $).00 (Five Dollars) reconnection fee will be charged. Reconnect charge will be due and payable at the Cooperative's Office upon notice of said charge prior to con­nection. No reconnection shall be made after the regular working hours unless in the judgement of the management there exists circumstances that will justify the ad­ditional expen~e.

:METER TESTS

All new meters shall be checked for accuracy before installation. The Cooperative will, at its own expense, make periodical test and inspections of its meters in or­der to maintain a high standard of accuracy and to conform with the regulations of the Public Service Commission. T.ije Cooperative will make additional test of meters at the request of the member and upon payment of a fee of $).00 (Five Dollars) paid in advance. When the test made at the member's request shows that the meter is accurate within 2% slow or fast, no adjustment will be made to the members bill and the fee paid will be forefeited to cover cost of requested test. When the test · shows the meter to be in excess of 2% fast an adjustment shall be made to the mem­bers bill by recalculating the monthly bills for a period equal to one-half (1/2) of the time lapsed since the last previous test, but in no case this period exceed three (3) months and the cost of .testing the meter found to be inaccurate will be borne by the Cooperative and the $).00 (Five Dollars) fee paid by the member will be refunded .

METER READING

Each ·member receiving service will be required to supply the Cooperative with read--ing of each meter on the form as furnished be the Cooperative on such date design­ated by the Cooperative. Upon failure by the member to supply the Cooperative with such meter reading for three (3) consecutive meter reading dates the Cooperative will act by having its representative read the member's meter, and a service charge of $).00 (Five Dollars) will be made for the extra service rendered. Availability

This rate shall apply only to electric service to a single family dwe and its appurtenances, where the major use of electricity is for domestic poses such as lighting, household appliances, and the personal comfort and venience of those residing therein. Any such dwelling in which space is occasionally used for the conduct of business by a person residing therein be served under this rate. Where a portion of a dwelling is used the conduct of business, the electricity consumed in that portion so used be seperately metered and billed under the General Power Rate; if seperate circuits are not provided by the customer, service to the entire premises be billed under the General Power Rate.
