Are women more attracted to men who are emotionally and phys-ically unavailable?

More and more single women are engaging in relationships only to find out that the man that she has fallen head over heels in love with, just isn’t that into her. How heartbreak-ing it must be to know that you have done everything right in hopes of securing a rela-tionship or hearing those lovely three little words, I Love You! Men for some time now have managed to keep a woman’s attention by giving her just enough to keep her hang-ing on, but not enough to make a serious commitment. So why are women accepting this? Why won’t they just move on and find someone who is willing to return the love and give them the attention they deserve. Perhaps it has to do with the chase, similar to the cat and mouse pursuit.

Men for years have been known for being the one who pursues the woman and when she is uninterested or acts nonchalant, it increases the desire. It’s the thrill of conquer-ing and getting what is off limits. Now it seems that more and more women have taken on the role of a man in search for companionship. Men who are unavailable emotionally and/or physically appear to be in great demand. The nice guys are finishing last and the players are making out like a fat rat in a cheese factory. Is there something wrong with a woman who desires a man who can’t or refuses to return the favor? Or is she simply exercising what’s in her nature and wanting what she cant have? Maybe in some way she is actually fulfilling a much deeper need for love and affection and set -tling for his unavailability in exchange. Either way, it looks like the mouse is now chas-ing the cat and the cat is winning!
