Profile Summary
After completion of my senior certificate, I spent a year as Administration Assistant at New Era Developments in
Polokwane. At New Era Developments, a small business, I gained valuable experience in general office
administration, diary coordination, meeting scheduling and general commercial processes.
After I had to put a hold on my studies due to financial restraints, I started work as receptionist at Mikes Kitchen’s
Head office in Bryanston, which added to my experience, as my duties included switchboard, data capturing, filing
and typing. Although I excelled at Mikes Kitchen, my future looked bleak as I had no option or room for growth;
therefore I started contract work at Mehleketo Resourcing as Admin Assistant where we upgraded the 3kV power line
from Sishen to Saldanah to 50kV. We stayed in lodges and moved along the power line as our work moved forward,
which adds to the fact that I am very flexible and willing to put a lot of effort, even when the circumstances aren’t
exactly convenient.
With that contract expiring, I decided to start a career in the Health and Safety field, and therefore I started a series of
courses at NOSA Klerksdorp.
