CDFEComputerDrive C is the hard drive youll use most often

Inside each drive (file drawer) are foldersSoDrive C might look something like this: (It just means that there are lots of folders in Drive C).

C=That document youre working on is also called a file:This is my document. It is also called a file.

So how do I save my document?

But WAIT! What are libraries?

Libraries are shortcuts that Microsoft created to make it easier to find the most used folders.They are actually located in Drive C

Every user has a folder.Within that folder are the libraries.But theyre actually just foldersTo save a Word document file in your My Documents folderClick on the Office buttonClick on Save AsClick on DocumentsType in a new name for your documentClick on the Save button

BUT WAIT! I want to save on my flash drive instead!

Click on the Office buttonClick on Save AsScroll down to ComputerClick on your flash drive (the drive letter may be different and may not say flash drive)Type in the new document nameClick on the Save button

Thats all there is to file management!
