Withholding Information that People Need?

•Would you withhold information from someone who asks how they can seek the Lord?•Would you withhold information from someone who is in sin or could fall into sin?• And Pharaoh called Abram and said,

“What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife? Gen. 12:18

Abraham’s Lie Was Implied•Why is the phrase, “He is my brother” is the only thing said? • To imply that Sarah was not his wife (which is a lie)• It was pre-planned (Gen. 20:11-13) • So Abraham would not be killed, if they found out

that they were actually married

• Abraham and Sarah are both rebuked by Pharaoh and King Abimelech for implying that Sarah was not the wife of Abraham 20:16

Bind Yourself to Truth (Proverbs 3:3-7)3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you;Bind them around your neck,Write them on the tablet of your heart,4 And so find favor and 1high esteemIn the sight of God and man.5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart,And lean not on your own understanding;6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,And He shall direct your paths.7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;Fear the LORD and depart from evil.
