What do we know about:
sharks!
Sharks have super sharp teeth. If they loose any, they just grow some more. Can you see the rows of teeth?
Sharks can breathe under water. They do not need to come to the surface like dolphins and whales. A shark is a fish.
Sharks like to eat fish, penguins and other
smaller marine creatures.

The whale shark is the biggest fish in the sea!
It can weigh as much as three elephants!
The dwarf shark is much smaller!
It can be as small as the palm of your hand!
The great white shark is the deadliest shark
It has over 50 sharp teeth in
rows one behind the
other!
Sharks do not usually attack people but it is not a good idea to swim in waters where sharks have been seen.
