(SIC) & Parent Teacher Student
Organization (PTSO)
The purpose of the School Improvement Council is to provide a venue for parents, students, teachers, and community members to gain knowledge about school goals, share information with other parents regarding the school’s programs, offer suggestions to the principal about program improvements and annually evaluate and make suggestions to the principal concerning program changes or continuation. The Parent/Teacher/Student Organizations purpose is to provide financial support for classroom grants to teachers, awards and recognition programs for students and speakers. Bands competition they won:

3rd place overall in A Category**Quality Award
Please join Mr. Henderson in congratulating Amber Spencer, Donavon Wright,
and Ashley Spencer on their successful auditions last weekend to the Midlands
Region Orchestra. These students will perform in the Region Orchestra concert
at Irmo HS on Saturday November 23 at 6:00pm.

Harlem 100 Performance at
Eau Claire!
October 17th we Celebrated our Senior Volleyball Players in their
Final Regular Session Game. We wish them the very best.
ECHS Language Department students attended the Language Day
organized by Clemson University, at Pelion High School. They
learned about multiple language opportunities, abroad internships
and language jobs. Also, Clemson University came to ECHS to speak
with our students.
ECHS Student Council participated in the SCASC
District 4 Rally!!
October 17th for National Day of Concern we were visited by the US Attorney office and ATF to discuss gun safety. Our students pledged to stand against gun violence.

Each year South Carolina's finest agriculture, art, home crafts, flowers, and livestock is showcased at the
South Carolina State Fair! This year the Eau Claire Family and Consumer Science/ Early Childhood students
entered One Scrapbook page into the fair. Students worked hard to create a page that represented them, their
school, and the FCS class that they were taking this year.
