Kanye West- Digipak

A picture of the Jesus, enables us to have some sort of insight regarding the topic of the music, simultaneously it also presents the Artist's motif; his concept of him resembling god.

The tape covering his eyes, suggests the album is unconventional, it automatically gives off a special feel towards the artist and the album. It could be presenting the artist's concept and ideas of his religious faith; that God doesn't see what he should see, or god is blind?

The colour red intensifies the mood, or the vibe of the song, as red is often a synonymy with powerful force.

The black background and the red fonts, further establishes and intensifies the mood. A lot of religious reference, which further cements the Artist's perception

The magazine cover further advertises the Artist, as the platform of advertisement has expanded. People are more likely to notice his presence, if the advertisement is in more than one platform.

The artist is displayed well in this magazine cover, he is consuming the space of the cover, which clearly signifies his importance. Also there's a reflection of him, which portrays his unique attributes as an artist.

The red colour establishes the theme of the music, love, romance, hatred; passion.

This symbol indicates the audience target

In the middle of the album cover, the artist is posing in a way, which attracts the audience, as it intrigues them.

The theme of the music is set by the curtains, indicating that his life's a show, and he's tired of playing in that show.

The title is deliberately big and bold to inform fans that its his show, his fans will be pleased by the title “Eminem Show”- as it means its focused only on him

The concept of this magazine cover is from a movie “Clockwork Orange”- a controversial movie which was banned by the government, and this relates with the artist as his actions and his songs are also considered controversial

The knife signifies danger, towards the audience

The clockwork orange is a good concept for the poster as its weird, and modern day audience prefers weird and different ideas,we embrace new, original concepts

The font used is the same throughout the whole album. The font size is about 96 puts emphasis on the title “FAME” , standing out from the background. Many colours are used but due to the white bold font, it really stands out despite the chaotic nature of the background.

The main image of the artist who appears looking at the camera, displays the artist and his confidence, as well as indicating his personality and mind-set through his facial expression. There are two other photos of artist to the right and left, which indicates the point of his album, that he has more than one side to him, what the media presents is the front and what he is at the side. His real nature has disappeared due to “FAME”- which is his point for his album.

The background is filled with various artists, which shows different elements of him and his personality. The whole cover is very common in the hip hop genre with appearance similar to his; caps and casual clothing. The images used are very colourful which attracts people, especially those who fit as the target audience.
