Distributor Activities: Defined

1.What: Activities that occur with a distributor rep.

2.Where it’s logged: End User Accounts, Distributor Accounts, or Opportunities.

3.How it’s Logged:

• Joint Call with Distributor = I physically went somewhere and made a call with a distributor rep.

• Training = I physically went somewhere with a distributor contact and performed a training.

4.Please Note: Distributor Activities must contain a distributor rep contact

Tip: Sales Support Center can enter distributor activities

2.Where it’s Logged: End User Account*

3.How it’s Logged: Keeping/Priority activity.

4.Please Note: Keeping activities must contain an end user contact.

*End User Account must be designated as a Keeping Account (aka: Priority Account) in SFDC

Where it’s logged: Keeping End User Accounts, or Priority Opportunities.

How it’s Logged:

Joint Call with Distributor = I physically went somewhere and made a call with a distributor rep.

Training = I physically when somewhere with a distributor contact and performed a training.

Must contain a distributor rep contact AND an end user contact

Combination of 2 or 3 Activities:Distributor + Keeping + Priority
