PURITY

What is PURITY?

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” – Matthew 5:8

Clean of Heart – pure, single-heartedconstantly choosing God.to will one necessary thing, union with God forever.

PURITY is the glory of the human body before God. It is God’s glory shining in the human body.

When some young people asked Mother Theresa how they could learn to see and serve Jesus in the poor, she replied,

“You need a clean heart.”

Being clean of heart or single-hearted means that one cannot be deflected from the path to God, from doing His will.

that powerful presence to change our life. “God is with me.”

Recreation. Hobbies. Eating habits. Emotions. Thought patterns. Or one room is Off-limits to God? “God is watching me.”

3. Love in every act. “Let all that you do be done with LOVE.” – 1 Corinthians 16:14 “God loves me.”

Let’s see GOD in Every Person Jesus promised that if your HEART is

PURE, you’ll see GOD. You’ll see God in every person you met.”

1. Chastity – “no to LUST”2. Lust – counterfeit LOVE

– sexual desire void of God’s love – self-gratification at the expense of other

3. Love – self-donation for the good of the other.4. Authentic love is impossible without chastity.5. Purity of Heart – when we understand, see,

and experience the body as God created it to be, as a revelation of His own divine mystery.

6. Freedom – The power to act or not to act.

– exist for the sake of love and cannot be separated from truth.

God wants us to keep our WAYS PURE.

1. You must make a decision.2. Be vigilant with lust.3. Train yourself to self-mastery & self-sacrifice.4. Devout yourself to the real man. Jesus Christ5. Devout yourself to the real woman. Mama Mary6. Seek grace to forgive those who wounded you.7. Ask for forgiveness to those you’ve wounded.8. Seek professional counselling if needed.

PURE in HEART

Conclusion:

God wants us to keep our WAYS PURE.

We should seek to live PURE LIVES because to do so glorifies GOD.

1. Seeking Him with all of our heart.2. Hiding God’s Word in our heart.3. Meditating on God’s Word.
