JUNE CLASSES Serger Baby’s Bubble Jumper Cathy The bubble has sweet angle sleeves and is fully lined. Soft gathers at the neck and around each leg are created using 1/8” elastic. The gathered ruffle edges are finished using a rolled hem on the serger. The bubble closes with snaps at the crotch. Serger & Sewing machine class. Tuesday, June 2 10-4 $40

Join Chris to make a beautiful quilt based off a 19th Century Sampler Quilt, this quilt features pieced and applique blocks by Minick and Simp-son. The Austin Bluebird Sampler is a crisp, vi-brant grouping of fabrics. This is such a charming reproduction with 2 birds on a branch surrounded by rose buds, flowers, cherries and pears. The happy bluebirds are surrounded by pieced blocks in the style of an original 19th century sampler quilt. Meets on Friday once a month from 10—2.

Block Of the Month 2015
Austin Bluebird Come in and learn how to construct this quilt, one month at a time. You'll learn all kinds of techniques including piecing, paper piecing, blanket stitch applique and a whole lot more! Chris will show you, step by step, each component of the quilt making process and several handy tricks along the way. You'll end up with lots of knowledge, dear friends, and a charming and unique quilt! Join us on Friday, April 10 at 10:00 am to learn about the Block of the Month quilt class. Chris will have the quilt for you to see and will give you the basic planning information on the class. No charge for this introduction session.
