The Right Tension

A perfect seam is strong, flat and smooth. Tomake a perfect seam the tension on yourthread must be just right. Tension is adjustedby turning the tension thumb nut.

If your stitching looks like this, make it tighterby turning the tension thumb nut to the right.

If your stitching looks like this, make it looserby turning the tension thumb nut to the left.

When your seam looks like this, the tension isjust right.
