“Swisscom Smart Business Communication” SIP Trunks

This document is a reference for configuring “Swisscom Smart Business Communication” SIP trunks onto Panasonic KX-TDE/NCP PBX series and includes the settings required for Incoming Call DDI routing and Outgoing Call CLI presentation. SIP trunk details such as account ID, authentication ID, password and DDI number will be provided separately. Attention:

(1) Provisioning a SIP Trunk SIP Trunk – Port Property Important Note: Programming the details of the SIP trunk is done in this field. Select [1. Slot] from Configuration menu, then mouse over -> [IPCMPR Virtual Slot] and choose “Select Shelf”. Then mouse over [V-SIPGW16] --> click [OUS] --> [V-SIPGW16] again, Select [Port Property] [Main] Tab

1. Channel Attribute: Basic Channel 2. Provider Name: Enter the trunk a logical name 3. SIP Server Location – Name: Not required. 4. SIP Server Location – IP Address: 192.168.1.xxx – Enter CISCO eSBC address 5. SIP Server port Number: 5060 6. SIP Service Domain: Not required 7. Subscriber Number: Not required

*Note : If you use more than 2 Channels with same SIP Account, please select “Additional Channel for Slot x Ch y to copy the same setting. (x is the Slot number and y is the channel number) for Channel Attribute.

SIP Trunk – Port Property continued [Account] Tab 1. User name: Enter the SIP Account (User name) as supplied by Swisscom

As international number : +41xxxxxxxxxx. Please note that this is just the SIP Account (user name) and DOES NOT include @192.168.x.xxx For example: SIP Account (User name) = 0312345670 Enter: +41312345670

2. Authentication ID: Enter the Authentication ID as supplied by Swisscom. Please note that this is just the Authentication ID and DOES NOT include @192.168.x.xxx For example: Authentication ID = 0312345670 Enter: 0312345670

3. Authentication Password: Enter the Password as supplied by Swisscom.

1. Header Type: “P-Preferred-Identify Header” *Note : with this Header Type, PBX add Privacy header. 2. From Header-User Part: “PBX-CLIP” (Depends on) 3. P-Preferred-Identity Header-User Part: “User Name”

SIP Trunk – Port Property continued [Voice/FAX] Tab

1. Fax Sending Method: “T38” or “G.711 Inband” *Note : Depends on, basically T38 is ok. If you choose “G.711” as FAX, please set

“Reject T.38 Request from Network” as Enable.

** If Fax Sending Method is “G.711 Inband” [T38] Tab

1. Reject T.38 Request from Network: “Enable” only the case G.711

All other settings can be left at default. Press [OK] or [Apply]

If you set all for SIP Trunk, Move mouse over [V-SIPGW16] --> click [INS] to set SIP Trunk ports as In Service.

(2) Music On Hold Configure to use Music On Hold / Ringback Tone [2.System] --> [2.Operator & BGM] [BGM and Music on Hold]

Music source of BGM 1: Internal BGM1, 2 or External BGM Music on Hold : Tone, BGM2 – BGM 7 Sound on Transfer: Ringback Tone By selecting Music on Hold as BGM, then other party can hear Music when call is on Hold.

Also when call is transferred, other party can hear Ringback Tone.

(3) System Option – Setting for send original caller CLIP when forwarded / transferred. [2.System] -> [9. System Options] -> [Option 4] [Send CLIP of CO Caller]

When call is transferred to CO : Disable When call is forwarded to CO : Disable By disabling these 2 parameters, the originator’s CLIP is not notices to transferred person.

(4) Incoming Call Routing Go to [10.2 DIL Table & Port Settings] and check the basic channel is set “DDI/DID” (default).

Go to [CO & Incoming call] and select [3.DDI /DID Table]

1. DDI/DID Number: Enter the DDI number in the format (as below) Example: +41312345671 Enter: 41312345671

2. DDI/DID Name: Determined by the installer (optional setting) 3. DDI/DID Destination: Determined by the installer (extension number, group etc)

All other settings can be left at default.

(5) Outgoing Call CLI Each extension that wishes to present individual CLI needs to be programmed with a valid CLI. A valid CLI is normally a DDI number associated with the SIP trunk. i.e. if the DDI number is 041312345671, the CLI to be programmed is 041312345671 Go to “Calling Party” tab.

1. From Header – User Part: Change to PBX-CLIP

All other tabs may be left at default

- Header Type - From Header – SIP-URI (100 characters) - P-Preferred-Identity Header – User Part - P-Preferred-Identity Header – SIP-URI (100 characters) - Number Format - Remove Digit - Additional Dial - Anonymous format in “From” header

Go to “4.Extension, 1.Wired Extension, 1.Extension Settings” & select “ISDN CLIP”

1. Enter a valid CLI for each extension that requires it in the CLIP ID field 2. If you want to show the name for each extension that requires it in the Extension Name field

CLIR Outgoing Call (Anonymous calls) No special setting is required.

(6) SIP Trunk and Extension Port Number (if need to change to 5060) Go to [1.Configuration – 1.Slot] Move mouse over [V-SIPEXT32], --> [Card Property]. [UDP Port No. for SIP Extension Server] change (Default:5060) to 15060 --> click [OK].

Click [Virtual] --> move mouse over [V-SIPGW16], --> click [OUS]. Click [OK] pop-up window. [V-SIPGW16], --> click [Shelf Property] --> Select [Main] tab. [SIP Client Port Number] change (Default:35060) to 5060. [NAT Traversal] change (Default: Off) to Fixed IP Addr. [NAT – Fixed Global IP Address] Enter the Global IP Address. and click [OK]. --> [V-SIPGW16] again, --> click [INS]. *Note: Need to Save the System data and Restart the PBX after making these port changes.
