Assembling a go kart for the first can be tricky especially if you are not prepared and
you lack knowledge in setting it up.
Most beginners prefer do-it-yourself go kart setting up
but the problem for some racers is that they tend to do the nitty-gritty setup task a week before the
racing season.
When this happens, it’s time to follow these easy steps and make sure that you
have all the tools needed.
Here are some of the tools that you will need:
• Metric Hex Wrench Set• Ratchet Set• Needle Nose Pliers• Assorted Wrenches• Nuts, Bolts and Washers
in different sizes
When it comes to go kart parts, here are what you will
need:
• Safety wire• Fuel line• Go kart grade chain• Throttle cable• Go kart seat• Cable ties
• Chain guard• Motor mounts• Tachometer• Motor mounts• Go kart body kit• Fuel tank• Rear sprockets
The first thing to do in setting up your go kart is to
start with mounting your seat.
Mounting the seat is the hardest task of the entire
installation.
Thus most kart experts recommend that it will be
done by setting the kart up on the ground without rims such that the chassis rests
on the ground.
After the seat is successfully mounted, the next thing to do is to mount the engine.
Before the actual mounting, be sure that you have your
clutch and sprocket installed in the engine.
When done, you can simply setup the engine and you
are ready to go.
When all seems to be in their respective places, you can now make a permanent
adjustment to the engine until the chain achieves its
proper tightness.

your needs.
