Starting the conversation

I donated a kidney to my father on 5/27/2008!

My dad had a liver transplant in 1985! It gave him 18 years more to his life. Such a wonderful gift!! I miss him.

I had a liver transplant 3 years, 5 months and 6 days ago (and still counting!) I was 24 years old and have since gotten married and am now expecting my first child. Life is such an amazing gift and blessing.
