A SPECIAL NOTE TO PARENTS Kindly ensure that your ward: ‐ Arrives at school on time. After two
late arrivals in the same month disciplinary action will be taken.
Is dressed in clean, well – ironeduniform as prescribed by the school with proper haircut.
Does not carry a mobile phone / any other electronic gadgets or wear expensive watch to the school.
Completes homework / assignment/project work assigned by the school on time and neatly too, as these are i nc luded i n the evaluation.
Appears for all weekly/periodictests as per the given schedule in the almanac.
Does not appear for the exam if he/she is not well. No child is allowed to go home after the exam.
Also, Please monitor the internet sites
being visited by your ward and limit the TV viewing to appropriate programs.
Please inform the school about any change of residence/telephone number to facilitate contact.
House System The students are divided into six
houses named after prominent Indian rivers – Chenab, Ganges, Jhelum, Ravi, Sutlej & Yamuna.
Inter‐house cultural and sportsevents are held through the year to promote talent and foster team spirit among house members.
TO BE FOLLOWED STRICTLY Half day leave is not permitted.
However, in case of emergency leave
can be obtained with the permission of the Principal after completing formalities.
Parents are requested to send a leave application in advance in case of planned leave.
GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS Please cooperate with the school by
paying attention to your ward's regularity, punctuality and discipline
and by taking interest in his/her work.
Do check the bag of your ward from time to time.
Any communication made by you should be addressed to the Principal
and not to the class teacher.
Use of mobile by parents in the school campus is strictly prohibited.
DISCIPLINE Lunch box/pack shall be carried by
the student to school on a daily basis.
No items such as food, water bottles,
books, school bag, projects will be accepted at the gates and sent to the
students once they come to school.
No bouquets and cakes will be allowed in school premises for any kind of celebration.
Prior permission must be obtained to
meet the Principal/teachers unless it
is an emergency.
Students coming to school even on an off day must come in proper school uniform

SCHOOL FEE All students must pay school fee for 12 calendar months. School fee should be paid in two installments, First on or before 30
th April and
second latest by 30Th
October of every session. In case of default, Rs. 15 per day will be charged as penalty till the payment is cleared. The fee defaulter's name will be struck off the rolls after one month of last date of payment due.
Readmission shall then be made strictly on availability of seats and/or on discretion of the school management.
Children seeking admission afresh shall be required to pay entire fee amount before admission.
WITHDRAWAL NORMS One‐month notice in writing must be submitted to school office to take the
Transfer Certificate. Students who take TC after 31
st March will have to pay the Annual Fee for the next
session and tuition fee up till the month attendance of the child is recorded in school.
TC will not be issued until all the school dues are settled. Those who apply for TC at the end of the session should send the application form
on or before 28th
February of the session. The school can strike off the name of a student from the rolls on the following

PARENT – TEACHER INTERACTION In accordance with the schedule printed in the school almanac, Parent‐ Teacher
interaction is held on a regular basis. Comprehensive information is provided to parents on the progress being made
by the wards. Parents are advised to use the space provided in the almanac for any
communication with the teachers, including special appointments as well as leave application
RULES CONCERNING ABSENCE Half day leave is not permitted, however in case of emergency leave can be
obtained with the permission of the Principal after fulfilling other formalities. No leave of absence is granted except on receipt of PRIOR WRITTEN APPLICATION
from parents or guardians and even then, for plausible reasons only. Parents are requested to send a leave application in advance. A student returning to school after suffering from an infection or contagious

A student suffering from the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class. Chicken pox – till complete falling of scabs. Cholera – till the child is completely well. Measles – till the swelling has gone i.e. about three weeks. Whooping cough – six weeks. COVID 19 – a fortnight.

AWARDS
i. Classes IV and V: Students who secure A1 Grade in minimum three
main scholastic subjects and a grade point of 48 and above in the
Annual Final Score. The students should not secure less than A2
Grade in the remaining scholastic subjects. Average of all the
written tests will be considered for Annual Score.
ii. Classes VI to IX: Students who secure A1 Grade in any two main
scholastic subjects and a grade point of 45 and above in the Annual
Final Score. The student should secure minimum B1 Grade in the
remaining scholastic subjects.
iii. A student should secure a minimum of B2 grade in Computer
Science and 3rd language.
iv. A student should secure a minimum of B grade in Physical
Education and Art Education.
v. A minimum attendance of 90% is compulsory.
vi. A student does not qualify for the award if he/she remains absent
for any pen‐paper test for any scholastic subject.
2. A student who is a scholar for three consecutive academic sessions is
eligible to receive a SCHOLAR GOWN
3. A student who is a scholar for six consecutive academic sessions is
eligible to receive a GOLD MEDAL.
4. CERTIFICATE OF PROFICIENCY will be given to the student from Classes
I – IX which will be based on pen‐paper test.
5. CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION will be awarded to the student from
Classes I – IX who has performed commendably in the co‐curricular
activities organised by the school.
6. ATTENDANCE AWARD Certificate of appreciation for securing 100
percent attendance to students.

ASSESSMENT DETAILS FOR THE SESSION 2021 – 2022
For Pre-Primary – Nursery and Preparatory 1. As learning is an ongoing wholesome process, students will be evaluated in a Continuous and Comprehensive manner. The Comprehensive Assessment process will focus on the daily consistent progress of a child in academic as well as other co‐curricular activities. 2. The Assessment procedure will be based on the child's daily interaction and performance in class, general knowledge and awareness, the quality of work produced by him/her, internalization of the concepts taught during the course of the classroom and the consequent learning outcomes throughout the year.
Primary – Classes I & II: The syllabus of scholastic subjects shall be divided into 4 parts and Weekly Test shall be conducted in each part. The syllabus once tested will not be evaluated again. Each weekly test will be out of 25 marks, each of 60 minutes duration. The annual score will be calculated based on the total (sum) of marks obtained in 4 weekly tests.
Classes III to VIII: Semester system will be followed. There shall be 4 Periodic tests. The syllabus of Periodic Test 1 will be included for Periodic test 2. Similarly, the syllabus of Periodic Test 3 will be included for Periodic test 4. The syllabus of PT1 and PT2 will not be carried over.

Norms of Promotion There will be no formal exams for students of Nursery and Prep. The Progress
Report of the children will be based on the assessment/evaluation done by their teachers on the basis of day‐to‐day observation.
Minimum 85% attendance is required for eligibility to write the Annual Exam (Classes I to IX).
Due credit to be given to neatness in notebook, regularity, punctuality, and timely submission of assignments.
Performance in Computer Science, Art and Physical & Health Education shall also be considered for up gradation to the next class.
Minimum percentage required for promotion to next class in each individual subject shall be 40% or C2 grade.
Students behavior, ethics, values shall play a major role in the promotion to the next class.
Note: Results of the students deviating from the expected standard of performance will be discussed on one‐to‐one basis and then the progress profile will be handed over to the parents.
