Tania Daniels, PT, MBA
For almost two decades, Tania Daniels, has served as the quality and safety expert at the
Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA). As vice president of quality and patient safety, she has
led MHA’s Partnership for Patients Hospital Improvement and Innovation Network which has
prevented more than 28,000 patients from being harmed, over 10,000 patients from being
readmitted to the hospital, resulting in over 217 million in cost savings. Tania partners with key
stakeholders to collaboratively improve health care, resulting in two national awards: The 2015
AHA Dick Davidson Quality Milestone Award and the 2013 Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality
Award in 2013.
Jenny Schoenecker
Jenny Schoenecker is a senior director of quality and patient safety who works with the
Minnesota Hospital Association to develop, implement, and facilitate hospital and health system
clinical activities and collaboratives to improve the triple aim.
Jenny has a passion for positioning Minnesota’s hospitals and health systems as demonstrated
national leaders in all aspects of quality, patient safety and mental and behavioral health. Jenny
provides MHA members with technical and implementation support, including consults,
training/education, and assistance with prioritization of quality, safety and mental/behavioral
health action plans.
