What is ELIN?
ELIN provides our users with a simple and quick system for finding:– E-books– E-journals– Articles– Library databases– Websites

What is ELIN?
• ELIN is NOT a federated search solution
• Developed by University of Lund
• Extensive agreements with publishers: article metadata from >14,400 journals
• Upload book and journal records from OPAC, SFX etc.
• Manually add and edit records if required

Why did we choose ELIN?
• Library OPAC does not provide access to journal articles
• Library OPAC does not provide sufficient browsing facilities
• Need for simple alternative to Google
• Bibliographic databases can be complex
