Z564 Service Certification Level 1 (CER-L1) ABB Analytical Measurements The experienced ABB team offers comprehensive training for service engineers required to service and support FT-IR analyzer systems after the initial commissioning. The training is available at ABB facilities. Certification granted upon successful completion of the examination: Certification is valid for a period of two years. Profile Service engineers required to service and support FT-IR analyzer systems after the initial commissioning. Capable of performing standard FTLA commissioning. Pre-requisites Service background in instrumentation or similar expertise. Have a significant experience with ABB FT-IR analyzers. Main skills • Understand the principles and concepts of FTIR technology. • Capable of identifying the various models of ABB FTIR spec- trometer platforms and the related accessories. • Perform FTLA IQ/OQ validation and diagnostics. • Understand the basis of the Partial Least Square (PLS) tech- nique used for calibrating instruments. • Understand the operation and basic configuration of FTSW100 process software. • Able to Import/Export a FTSW100 Configuration (XML file). • Update analyzers with new models and/or calibration files. • Able to acquire calibration development data and reporting it correctly to the application specialist. • Perform preventive maintenance and service on the main modules of all FT-IR analyzers. • Troubleshoot and correctly report problems to the factory using the standard tools and software.
