Sérgio Conceição
Sérgio Conceição was born in Coimbra, on15th November 1974. He started his football career in Academic (Coimbra football club)and also played in FC Porto when he was a teenager.
Clubs
• He was transferred to Lazio in the Italian league, one of the richest and most competitive in Europe, for 10 million euros.
• The following season, he was sold to Parma against his will. This was a more modest club but his success led him in 2001to a big club, Inter Milan, where he remained for two seasons.
• In November 2009 he announced the end of his career as a professional footballer.
Coach
• In late May 2010, Conceição left PAOK and returned to Standard Liège.
• On January 1, 2012, he began his career as a head coach, replacing Dauto Faquirá in Portuguese Club SC Olhanense, where he remained until January 2013.
• Currently he is a coach at Associação Académica de Coimbra / OAF.
