Donation of Rice & Foodstuff

to the Poor & NeedyProject: Donation of Rice & Foodstuff to thePoor & Needy.

Date: 24-25 Sep 2005

Purpose: To assist the poor and needy in their

basic needs, i.e. food.

Welfare Committee of LCSerdang has committed to along-term project of fooddonation to the poor and needy.This is a meaningful charity work.13 families have been identified

and selected for this fooddonation program. All these 13families are in Serdang.

We believe that “Charity begins at home .” Hence, we have selected the poor/ needy families from Serdang as we are the LionsClub of Serdang.

Recently, the Welfare Committee headed by LnDanny Liew faced a logistic problem. The originaldonor of rice and foodstuff had decided NOT tocontinue the contribution.

We are now looking for new sponsors/donors ofthe food items.
